Terms of service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Happy Front for using CartLink, CartLink POS and the CartLink AI assistant, Sarah. By making an account or using these services, you agree to them. We may change these terms from time to time (see section 13). Please read them with our Privacy policy and Refund policy.
1. Who we are
Happy Front is a sole proprietorship registered in the Maldives (registration number SP-4887/2015, TIN 1057704), owned by Mohamed Vishah, at M. Sharaf, K. Male', Maldives. Cart Link is a business name registered to Happy Front.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Happy Front. "You" means the person or business using the services.
2. Our services
- CartLink: a shop link where buyers see a seller's products and place orders.
- CartLink POS: a point-of-sale system for shops, with sales, stock, staff, cash-up and reports.
- CartLink AI assistant (Sarah): answers customers' questions on a shop link or website, using the information the business gives her.
We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a main feature of a paid plan, we tell you first, as in section 13.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and allowed to act for the business you sign up.
- Give true and up-to-date details.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done in your account.
- Staff join a business only by signing up and entering that business's organisation code. The account holder decides who joins, and can remove staff.
- Tell us at once if you think someone has used your account without your permission.
4. Plans and payment
- Every service has a free plan. Paid plans and their prices are shown on our website and in your account.
- Prices are in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR). For customers outside the Maldives, prices may be shown and charged in US dollars (USD).
- Paid plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly.
- You can pay by bank transfer and upload the transfer slip, or pay by card through the Bank of Maldives (BML) payment gateway.
- A card payment starts your plan as soon as BML confirms it. When you upload a slip, your plan starts while we check the slip. If the slip is rejected, your previous plan comes back.
- If a plan is not renewed, it stays in force until 7 days after the end of the paid period. After that, the account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
- Any tax that the law requires is shown on your invoice.
- We may change our prices. A new price applies from your next period, never to a period you have already paid for. We tell you at least 14 days before.
5. Plan limits
Each plan has limits, such as the number of products or the value of orders in a month. The limits are listed on our website.
If a CartLink goes over its plan's monthly order limit, new checkouts may pause until the next month or until the seller upgrades. The shop link still opens, and orders already placed are never touched.
6. Sellers and buyers
- When a buyer orders from a seller's CartLink, the sale is between the seller and the buyer. Happy Front is not part of that sale.
- Buyers pay sellers directly, for example in cash or by bank transfer to the seller's own account. Happy Front never receives, holds or passes on buyers' payments.
- We are not responsible for the goods or services a seller sells, for delivery, or for a seller's refunds. The seller is.
- Sellers must follow the law, including consumer law and tax law, and must describe what they sell truthfully.
Sellers must not sell or advertise:
- anything that is illegal in the Maldives, or in the buyer's country
- drugs, alcohol, weapons or explosives
- medicines that need a prescription or a licence
- stolen, counterfeit or fake goods
- pornography or sexual services
- gambling, lotteries or betting
- anything that uses someone else's copyright or trademark without permission
- scams, fake reviews, or schemes that pay people for recruiting others
We may hide a listing or suspend a shop that breaks these rules.
7. The AI assistant
- Sarah writes her answers automatically, using the information the business has given her. Her answers can be wrong or incomplete.
- The business is responsible for the information it gives Sarah, and for checking that it is correct and up to date.
- Sarah does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Do not rely on her answers for those.
- Messages sent to Sarah are handled as our Privacy policy describes.
8. Your content
- You own the content you add, such as products, photos, prices, descriptions and business information.
- You allow us to store, copy and show it as needed to run the services for you, for example to show your products on your shop link.
- You must have the right to use everything you add.
- We may remove content that is unlawful or that breaks these terms.
9. Fair use
You must not try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, disrupt or overload the services, copy or resell the services, or use them to send spam or mislead people.
10. Availability
We work to keep the services running, but we cannot promise they will never stop. They may pause for maintenance, or for reasons outside our control, such as internet or provider failures.
11. Ending and suspension
- You can stop using the services and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts other people at risk. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time, including before you close your account.
12. Liability
We are responsible only for loss or damage that one of our services directly caused while it was being used normally, as described on our website and in these terms.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
- carelessness or mistakes by you, your staff or your customers, for example wrong prices, stock or details entered, or a password that was shared or not kept safe
- using the services in a way we do not describe, not following our instructions, or breaking these terms
- your own devices, internet connection, printers or other equipment
- other companies' services, such as banks, payment providers, delivery services or messaging apps
- sales, deliveries, payments and disputes between sellers and buyers
- answers from the AI assistant that the business did not check
- events outside our control, such as power cuts, internet failures, natural disasters or government action
We are never responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost sales, lost business or lost data.
Where we are responsible, the most we will pay, in total, is the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the problem happened. If you paid us nothing in those 3 months, for example on a free plan, we owe nothing.
These limits apply as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law gives you and that cannot be taken away.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time, for example when we add or change features or prices, or when the law changes. We publish the new version on this page with a new date.
For important changes, we also tell you by email or in your account at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the services after a change applies, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the services and close your account.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any dispute will be decided by the courts in Malé. We would always rather solve a problem with you first, so please contact us.
